David V. Maraist. Jr. D.P.M is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, who received a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University. He then went on to earn his Medical Degree from Barry University of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida in 2006 and was a member of the Pi Delta Honor Society. In 2008, Dr. Maraist completed a surgical residency at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana.

Dr. Maraist is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is an active member of several podiatric societies including the Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association and American Podiatric Medical Association. He regularly attends local and national continuing education conferences to remain current in the field of podiatry.

Dr. Maraist has been in private practice since 2008, and provides service to his patients at Park Place Surgical Center, Lafayette General Medical Center and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife Kathy and their two children.
